Some popular comfort foods include mashed potatoes, pasta, cookies, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and toast. Plain toast is easy to make, but gets boring. So spice up your everyday toast with some cinnamon. Cinnamon toast is so easy a child can make it, and it’s so delicious any adult will love it. You just need a Cuisinart toaster oven and the necessary ingredients.

Ingredients:

5 slices of bread
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp sugar
½ cup brown sugar
Butter or margarine

Directions:
Mix the cinnamon and sugar in a medium bowl. Toast the bread until golden. Butter bread and sprinkle the cinnamon mixture on it. Toast bread for 1-2 more minutes. Enjoy!
