Toaster Ovens

I try to be creative with my children’s breakfast, in order to get them to eat up before they head out to school; I make sure that they have enough fuel for their day. I love working in the kitchen and it gives me satisfaction to know that they really enjoy their meals. Here’s one easy and simple recipe that I would like to share:

Cinnamon hearts

Butter both sides of your loaf bread (crusts removed).
Cut out heart shapes with cookie cutter. You can also cut them into any other shape you desire.
Dust one side of the bread with cinnamon and sugar mixture.
Place in oven toaster (I use Hamilton beach toaster oven for even browning).
Wait for bread to become toasty and crispy.
Serve while warm with hot chocolate for dipping.
(This is perfect for a cold winter morning as a cure for the blahs.)

We just got back from our honeymoon in the Bahamas. I am still in cloud nine and I can’t believe the fact that I am now married. After unpacking our stuff from our vacation, my husband and I opened all the wedding gifts.

All the presents were lovely. Of course, we received some duplicates, too. There were two coffee makers and three Hamilton beach toaster ovens. I know it is impractical to keep all of them but I find it hard to part with these appliances because I know they are good-quality brands.
