A Dorm Warming Gift for Any Student

Everyone who has ever spent any significant amount of time in college dorm rooms knows that a toaster oven is the primary cooking tool of the student. With that in mind, consider giving the college bound person in your life a dorm warming gift of a Black & Decker toaster oven. They offer many benefits. One, they are small, so they definitely won’t take up too much room in their dorm or their small studio apartment.

Two, they are easy to use. Many college freshmen have never cooked a meal in their lives, and this is a good intermediate step. As they become increasingly independent and learn how to do everyday chores like cooking dinner, they will learn recipes outside the toaster oven. But for the time being, it’s a great way to make sure that they don’t simply survive off ramen noodles and some form of canned pasta.

Looking For Ways To Save Space In The Kitchen?

Thursday, January 15, 2009
undercabinettoasteroven-kitcheneconomies.jpg

I just had my kitchen remodeled and one of the things that I stressed out with my kitchen designer is to make sure that extra shelf and cabinets were added. Since I really love working in my kitchen like baking and discovering other dishes, I always shop for cookware and bakeware sets, and now they are begging for space for each one of them. Besides, I also like to see them showcased in one area of my kitchen. As for my small appliances such as blender, coffee maker and oven toasters, I also had the designer create a special place for them. But I noticed that my old toaster oven is already outdated and just won’t fit in the current modifications on my kitchen. That is why I browsed online to see the choices in under cabinet toaster ovens. And what do you know, I was able to get one that will fit perfectly in my new kitchen.

Black & Decker toaster oven

Breakfast, say the experts, is the most important meal of the day. Loading up on a nutritious breakfast will give you enough energy to jumpstart your morning. If you are tired of eating cold cereal every single day, here’s a simple recipe that even your kids will love:

Vanilla French toast:

Mix together an egg, vanilla extract and confectioners’ sugar.
Spread butter on your bread, and dip your bread into the egg mixture.
Heat the bread in your Black & Decker toaster oven until your toast turns golden brown.
Enjoy the toast while it is warm, you may add syrup, honey, and fresh fruits on top if you want.

Black & decker toaster ovens

Breakfast s the most important part of the day for me. No one in our household can skip breakfast. When my old toaster oven conked out, I didn’t think twice about getting a new one.

Even when our family is running late we still have time to eat toast. I bought one of those Black & Decker toaster ovens. I trust the quality of this brand and I am sure this new toaster oven will keep me company in the kitchen for many years to come.
